As the summer was winding down, we took one last fun trip out to Action Park, near Mt. Hood.  The place is actually called SkiBowl, but during the summer months they have to do something else, so they have summer-type activities and call it Action Park.  This was our first time there and it was great fun.

The first thing we did was go in the "play zone" area for the kids.  Funny how the first pic is of Amy playing, isn't it?

Check out this video of Patrick and Amy playing in the ball pen.

I'm not exactly sure where Jarod was going with these balls.

Patrick spies something!

Oooh... a very neat "slide" with rollers.  Watch a video of Jarod sliding down with Amy.

Outside, they had a rock climbing wall (no pics) and one of those jumpy things.

The kids loved hurling themselves through the hole and into the pins on the other side.

For a special treat, click here to watch someone with amazing skills do some jumping.

They also had some kind of tube sled thing.

The tubes actually had casters on the bottom.  Weird.

Boyz n' the Hood.

Such a beautiful family...

The kids got to drive their cars...

And got to ride with me in the big kid cars.

I look like I'm working really hard at this.

After Action Park, we ate at Dairy Queen.

Yummy!

We did do a few more things at Action Park.  I personally did my 3rd bungee jump.  It was a measly 100 feet *and* it had an airbag.  I also got to do a reverse bungee.  That was mostly just a novelty, but fun.  But one of the coolest things we did was the alpine slide.  We rode that a whole bunch of times.  Here's some footage from Amy's POV.  Notice that I'm in the lead.  ;-)  (And yes, the kids are on those carts with us!)
